Is vinyl plank flooring really waterproof?

Yes — luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and rigid core (SPC) flooring are fully waterproof and excellent for bathrooms, basements, kitchens, and other moisture-prone areas.

How long does vinyl plank flooring installation take?

Most vinyl plank flooring projects take 1–2 days depending on room size, subfloor preparation, and whether old flooring needs to be removed.

Do I need to remove my old flooring first?

Not always. During your consultation, we evaluate your existing floor and decide whether removal, leveling, or installing over it is the best long-term option.

Can vinyl plank flooring be installed over tile?

Yes — with proper preparation and leveling, vinyl plank flooring can be installed over existing tile for a faster, cleaner upgrade.

Does vinyl plank flooring require underlayment?

Some products include built-in padding, while others benefit from added underlayment for sound reduction, comfort, and moisture control. We help you choose the right option.

Is vinyl plank flooring durable enough for pets and kids?

Yes — high-quality vinyl plank flooring is one of the most pet- and family-friendly options, offering scratch resistance, easy cleaning, and strong everyday durability.

Will my vinyl plank floors look cheap?

With professional installation and the right product, vinyl plank flooring can look realistic and high-end, closely mimicking natural wood and premium finishes.

Do you offer a warranty on vinyl plank installation?

Yes — all vinyl plank flooring installations are backed by a written workmanship warranty for added peace of mind.

Can I choose any plank width, color, or style?

Yes — we guide you through plank sizes, colors, textures, and finishes so you can match your home’s style and lighting.

Is vinyl plank flooring easy to maintain?

Very. Simple sweeping and occasional mopping are usually enough — no waxing, polishing, or refinishing required.
